Huntsville Robotics Group - Line following contest.

The members of the Huntsville Robotics Group are holding a Line Following Robot Contest in October.

Object

Robots will follow a line from a starting location to a finish line. The robot that accomplishes that goal in the shortest time is the winner.

Robot Specifications

Robots must be autonomous. Data links to off-board computers are allowed, but no wetware (human) operated remote controls will be permitted.

The length, width, and weight of a robot are not specified in this contest. The only requirement is that the robot must remain on the course during the event. It is the designers' responsibility to design the robot to accomplish its task.

Prizes will be awarded.

Date is subject to change.

Please bring whatever you need to work on your robot.

The Huntsville Robotics June Meetup

This will be the very first Meetup for The Huntsville Robotics Group since switching servers to meetup.com

We'll use the time to get to know new members, talk about being Robotics Enthusiasts, discuss the kinds of events the members would like to see and what we want out of our Meetups in general.

The meeting was originally set for 3:00PM on Friday. It has been brought to my attention that people work till 5:00pm on Friday.

Therefore, the meeting time has changed to Thursday at 6:00PM. If this is inconvenient to anyone, please let me know and we will find a time that will work for everybody.
