Hello, My name is Richard Pounders, and I recently moved to the Huntsville area. My 13 year old son, Ryan, has been interested in robotics for about 2 years now. he started with the lego-invention system 2.0, and migrated to Toddler, and Bo- bot systems. last Christmas he got the Vex system. What he really needs is a group of enthusiasts who can challenge him to really learn the programming and design elements necessary to be good at robotics.

I would really like to be contacted by someone who can advise me on getting my son involved.

Get him to enter the contest in October.
A Lego robot will work fine for this kind of contest.

Also be sure to bring him for the meet-up this Saturday.
