DESCRIPTION:The Robot Group\n\nMaker Special Interest Group - For electroni
 c beginners to expert level engineers.  Anyone interested in learning to so
 lder\, increasing an existing skill set and their electronic knowledge\, he
 lping others do the same or just hanging out... This SIG is for you!\n\n   
        7-8pm - Soldering: Basic Safety & Operations\n\nBasic electronics th
 eory and/or circuit construction using a soldering iron. If you have some b
 asic tools you may bring them but it is not required. Some tools and solder
 ing irons will be supplied. Appropriate for kids with some amount of coordi
 nation or younger children with a parents supervision and help.\n\n        
   8-10pm - Lego Mindstorms: Build a basic crawler & check build environment
 \n\nGet started and learn to program using the Lego Mindstorm construction 
 set. If you wish\, software and help will be provided to install a programm
 ing application on your laptop. The Lego Mindstorm microcontroller interfac
 es to a PC or laptop through a USB connection. \n\nDepending on popularity 
 the Maker SIG meeting will be held once or twice a month. No fees are requi
