The Robot Group meets once a week on Thursday Nights and makes regular appearances at community, education and social events. Our meetings are structured as follows:

7:30p-8:00p -- Arrival and social
8:00p-8:15p -- Business Discussions
8:15p-8:30p -- Committee reports
8:30p-9:00p -- Presentations, Show & Tell, Current Projects

The Robot Group Meets every Thursday from 7:30pm till 10:00pm

We encourage you to bring along projects for "Show and Tell". A project can be as little as a few sheets of paper that describe what your designing all the way up to and including a finished robotic device. We have the whole "party room" to ourselves! :) We have 110v power and a video projector, so feel free to bring a laptop or other portable electronics.

Our typical mix is artists, engineers, teachers, hobbyists and sometimes just folks that peer in to see what all the racket is about! :) We are kid friendly and encourage young people to become "junior members". Membership in the robot group is $25.00 a year for full membership and you receive a Robot Group T-Shirt. Junior memberships are $15.00 and includes a t-shirt as well.

NOTE: Though becoming a member is highly encouraged, you do NOT have to be a member to attend a meeting. Hope to see you at our next meeting!

Apparently 5 of us chose the wrong week for our first Robot Group Meetup. For the first hour, it was just 5 of us, all brand new to the group. Hi Jeanne, Kelly, Brian A little later Leonard dropped in for a while. The talk was fun, the people were friendly, just none of the experts were to hand. Wayne (and Jack)
    •  i was the only one there but i am great
    •  Mapquest is not always accurate (excuse), so I was 30 minutes late. Not good for a 1st timer. In the parking lot I bumped into another 1st timer. We found our way to the meeting room where there were two other 1st timers. And then a fifth 1st timer arrived. Eventually, a "near 1st timer" arrived - he had attended about two years ago and wanted to return. Thinking we had a quorum, we opened the meeting, handled old/new business, and passed the following resolution: At the first meeting after a meeting attended ONLY by 1st timers, the regular members would cater food to the next meeting.
