Nov 08 8 2008 10:00 AM	MTRAS ~ MidTn Robotic Arts Society November Meetup 18 attended (est.) – 5.002 Our meeting this month is a special event from 10-5. We'll be helping Segway demo outside to the right of the front doors near the planetarium from 10-2 (bring a jacket!). Big robots can demo in that general area at that time. We'll post signs and pass out cards...maybe walk around with a few robots to drive interest for the competition at 2pm. So....at 2pm, we'll be moving upstairs to the green or yellow classroom (we'll need Larry to verify) for our competition. Meeting will go until 4 like usual. Bring robots, projects, etc...anything you think you could talk to the kids about following the competition. .......................................................................................................................................... Oct 08 18 2008 2:00 PM	MTRAS ~ MidTn Robotic Arts Society October Meetup 2 attended (est.) – 5.001 Special event day is next month. Maybe competition trial runs this month? Our event day has changed for November. We will be there all day hosting a room for a special event. We will have a competition at 2pm. Meeting will be November 8th from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. for Whistlestop Weekend. We will be helping Segway demo until 2pm. Newbies, gearheads & everyone in between are welcome. Jun 08 28 2008 10:00 AM	MTRAS ~ MidTn Robotic Arts Society June Meeting 10 attended (est.) – 5.004 June Meeting - Sudekum Planetarium Opening - All Day Event! At the June meeting, we will be hosting a room a the Science Center for the grand opening of the new planetarium. The "meeting" will be from 10 am to 6 pm. If you can come during any block of time, we'd love to have you! We will have a setup provided by the Science Center and we will be running races with our bots through the day. Please post if you have anything else robotic that may be interesting for the kids to learn about, watch, play with, etc. Newbies, gearheads & everyone in between are welcome.
