Artificial intelligence, robots, neural networks, driverless cars, houses that talk, things that think, medical nanomachines in our blood stream, and all the rest. Join us in building robots, romping around the holodeck, and exploring the technological future.
This is a new discussion and action group for singularitarians, makers, and crypto-anarchists/cypherpunks. We strive to anticipate technological change in the coming decades, with a view towards creating a better society through the design and use of new forms of software and hardware. These include bitcoin (and bitcoin mining), 3d printing, robotics, and others. Although not a political group per se, anarchists, libertarians, Taoists, etc. are especially welcome.
Calling all Makers and Hackers! Chatt*lab is a makerspace devoted to the practice of leveraging technology and techniques to build things both real and virtual; with a sense of community, collaboration, inventiveness, humor and wonder. Come join us and help us get this makerspace started. Get updated on what we have done so far and see what you can do to help us get this makerspace off the ground.
